This encapsulates what drives us day after day, sometimes all night long if required. There’s been more than one massive print that kept us all until the wee hours of the morning. We went home covered in concrete dust, splattered with concrete mud, a little damp. But with that sunrise came the knowledge that a team of 4 or 5 people had just created something amazing.
3d printing concrete attracts a certain type. They’re fascinated with the process, the potential and the product. We’re an eclectic group with strong opinions and it’s a good thing some of the team has or had a foot in the comedy world–because like any good creative team, sometimes tempers flare– usually in the interest of making that perfect, amazing print. But a few good snarky observations, roasts or punchlines seem to help matters.
